This has been our family ride for 4 years, and it's been awesome. We bought this VW over an X5 or a Land Rover because it's flat out, a better car. The Touareg has every option available including auto levelling and height adjustable air suspension, 7700lb tow package, 4.2L 5 valve V8, Brembo 6 piston callipers fr and Brembo 4 piston callipers rr, full time AWD, locking centre diff, premium sound system, sunroof, adjustable roof rails, and more. In the last six months we replaced brakes and sensors, new windshield, new wipers, removed headliner to fix a leaky sunroof drain hose, installed new tires. Within a year, we replaced the centre driveshaft, spark plugs valve cover gaskets and other regular maintenance. Receipts and records for all work, with photos. Front fender and front bumper have minor defects, right quarter panel has a scratch. Three wheels have small scuffs. Lifters rattle at startup for about 3 seconds, and then the engine is dead quiet and pulls like a race car. Weather tech mats in front row, second row, and trunk. 3 keys. Books, nav discs. Trans shifts perfectly. No shakes, no squeaks. Air bag light recently came on, haven't pulled the codes yet. Call or email for more info.
