Crafted by skilled ship wrights in the golden age of wooden craft, Thalia Bee was commissioned in 1931 by a University of Washington Dance instructor. Thalia Bee cruises at 12 knots and could out-run all U.S. and Canadian Coast Guard vessels during U.S. prohibition.
Thalia Bee has been voted one of the ten best places to kiss in The Pacific Northwest, has operated as a successful bed and breakfast, and is regularly seen cruising the Gulf Islands and North in Desolation Sound.
She is currently moored in Westport Marina, close to Swartz Bay.
