Classic Nikon D3 body in North Saanich, British Columbia for sale

I have the classic & legendary Nikon D3 body for sale. It's got some mileage 182,000 actuations but folks remember that this body is tested by Nikon for 300,000 without failures and you often see some with over 1/2 a million actuations that are still going strong. This camera is a 12 megapixels low light beast that will fire shots at 9 frames per second and up to 11 frames per second in DX mode. Yes it is a 12 Megapixels camera but remember that we are talking full frame sensor here so those pixels are big which is great for low light shooting & unless you are printing a wall mural size poster it's 12 megapixels resolution with the right lens will be quite sufficient to get great results. There is something to be said about the colour rendition of that Toshiba sensor used in this camera, the D700 and in a crop version the D300 & 300s they were the top of their field only few years back & the D3 was certainly the king of that hill. Remember like Ken Wheeler (the Angry Photographer) said before the D3 might not be selling for huge amount of money these days but it is still a $5,000 camera in terms of it's build quality and purpose... Making the shot in any environment for decades to come. This is the best built made in Japan DSLR camera ever built & there are no other like it not even it's brothers the D4 & D5 in terms of toughness the D3 is superior IMO but hey if you don't trust me ask any Nikon Pro shooter what they think of the D3 and they will most likely have found memories and story to tell of what they have done with that camera. Have a look at some of the shot I took with mine in only few months of owning it and the only reason I'm selling it is because I need to make room and get funds for the purchase of a D810 camera for landscape photography and as a backup for my D500 that I use for wildlife & bird photography.
