Legendary Nikon D700 FX camera body. in North Saanich, British Columbia for sale

This is the legendary Nikon D700 FX (full frame) 12.1 megapixels camera body. With an all metal construction and pro-model layout this camera is a shooter's dream and will keep on doing so for years to come. It has a reputation for it's durability and it's colour rendition. A favourite among pro photographers it is said to be the camera for portraits. Don't let it'lower megapixel count (by today's standards) fool you this camera is sharp enough to render crisp prints of any size short of murals. It has a higher shutter actuation count (81,000) but many of these have gone over the 200.000 count and keep on going. This was a $3,000 + camera when new and is no entry level full frame DSLR it has the same layout and feel as the D800 Series that followed it. This was Nikon's first full frame camera body quickly followed by the D3 pro specific camera with whom it share many features including the sensor.
