Pre-owned, Nikon 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Nikkor Zoom "FX" lens. Excellent condition - optics has no scratches, fungus, separations. Includes lens hood, front and rear caps, lens pouch, original box and manual. This lens retails for $949 plus taxes at Canadian camera retailers.
Please note that this is the "G" version, not the "D" version which there is simply no comparison between the old AF-D version and the newer one.
The AF-S NIKKOR 18-35mm F3.5-4.5G ED is an affordable ultra wide-angle zoom lens that's designed for use on Nikon's FX (full-frame) SLRs. It can also be used on DX (APS-C) format cameras, on which it offers a 27-52mm equivalent range. It rates high for its portability, and excellent image quality. It is relatively compact, and weighs just 385g.
This lens is highly rated by various photography online sources (e.g., Ken Rockwell, Photography Life, Angry Photographer, etc.) . Ken Rockwell claims that "there is no ultrawide zoom significantly sharper than the Nikon 18-35G"!
